Gerard Butler Returns with More Explosion

In London for the British Prime Minister's funeral, Secret Service Agent Mike Banning (Gerard Butler) discovers a plot to assassinate all the attending world leaders when without warning, terrorists unleash a devastating attack that leaves the city in chaos. And when hell breaks loose, there's only one man that can contain it.

Being the true patriot that he is, Banning is once again faced to get his hands dirty, to protect and bring U.S. President Benjamin Asher (Aaron Eckhart) to safety. As freedom and future of the world were at stake on this terrorist attack, Banning pushes himself to no limits, as this time, it's about more than just protecting the State, it's about protecting home and family as well.

Manning, indeed, through his dedication to serve the country, has proven that honor and bravery are still the highest rewards of mankind. Well, we could only hope to have the same thinking and dedication from our security agents in our country. ;-)

Just like its prequel, Olympus Has Fallen, this one's also full of explosion. There's a great action bromance between the characters of Gerard Butler and the equally buff Aaron Eckhart. Dozens of tourist landmarks were shattered by the terrorists as well.

However, it lacks characterization and story. The action is pumped up. The destruction is extreme. But it's all about sadistic violence, which surprisingly cheers the movie audience. Thanks to Butler's charm.

Starring Gerard Butler, Morgan Freeman, Angela Bassett and Aaron Eckhart, and directed by Babak Najafi, London Has Fallen explodes into Philippine theaters on Thursday, March 3, 2016!
