Celebrate Financial Freedom with Piolo and Iñigo

In celebration of Sun Life Financial's 150 years, Sun Life of Canada (Philippines), Inc. will rally Filipinos to define and pursue their financial freedom in a nationwide campaign dubbed "#LiveFreePH Movement" which will be led by Sun Life brand ambassador, Piolo Pascual.

Piolo defines financial freedom, as the capability to enjoy his passions- acting, sports and continuing his advocacies, while supporting his son and family.

Piolo, who is obviously earning millions as the country's top actor, has decided early to save his earnings wisely. Admittedly a wise spender, Piolo has enrolled to Sun Life Financial's several policies, and revealed that he was even able to convince his fellow actors to get their insurance policies under Sun Life. Prior to being a Sun Life ambassador, he had already enrolled to Sun Life's various policies and has always been satisfied of being their client.

So to empower everyone to enjoy a better life and experience financial freedom like he does, Piolo is so glad to be spearheading Sun Life Financial's latest campaign, "#LiveFreePH Movement."

Joining him in his campaign is his own son, Iñigo. Iñigo, who at 17, is already earning more than the average guys his age, has also learned a lot from his dad when it comes to saving and spending wisely. As early as now, even if Iñigo is the beneficiary of most of Piolo's insurance policies, Iñigo still has enrolled himself to his own Sun Life insurance policy. Iñigo is flattered to have been given the chance to inspire and empower the youth on investing at a young age and how to support themselves financially. He knows that everything doesn't always come easy so it's good to emphasize to the youth the importance of saving and investing.

Created by Sun Life to unite Filipinos towards financial freedom, "#LiveFreePH Movement" aims to inspire Filipinos to believe that a brighter future is possible, provoke them to think about their own definition of financial freedom, and encourage them to translate their optimism about their financial future to reality, with the help of a financial advisor.

To create awareness and encourage community involvement in the provincial areas, the movement will go on a caravan entitled "#LiveFreePH Freedom Tour." It will make stops in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao, piloting in SM City Pampanga on August 28.

The tour will feature a lineup of activities that will guide participants as they begin their journey towards financial freedom. To participate, they can drop by the #LiveFreePH mall booths where they can declare their vision of financial freedom via the

"Live Free Freedom Wall". Through the "Brighter Life Index: Social Sentiment (BLISS)", they can assess their current situation and share their outlook for the future, and get to help a community in need while at it. They can also join the "Sun Celebright" promo for a chance to win a free trip to their chosen destination.

Sun Life advisors will also be on hand to assist those eager, to start mapping their journey towards financial freedom, while those interested in becoming Sun Life financial advisors will also be accommodated.

This will culminate in the "Freedom Celebration", a concert which will feature performances by Piolo Pascual, as well as his son and fellow Sun Life ambassador, Iñigo Pascual. They will lead the movement and give Filipinos a boost, as they strive to reach their financial goals.
