A Primetime Spot for Julie Anne's First Drama Series

Julie Anne San Jose has already proven her worth and bankability when it comes to singing, having a number of successful and sold-out concerts and reaching a multi-platinum status for her album. She has also proven her skills in acting via Just One Summer - her movie debut with his onscreen tandem, Elmo Magalona.

The three lead stars of Kahit Nasaan Ka Man - Kristoffer, Julie Anne and Lucho

Now, Julie is about to take on a new challenge, and will once again prove that she is undeniably loved by many Filipinos as GMA-7 takes another bold step in their primetime programming. The Kapuso Network has finally given a primetime spot to Julie as she leads the cast of the network's newest drama series, Kahit Nasaan Ka Man

Julie will still be showcasing her singing skills in the drama series as she plays the role of Pauline, a young blind woman who loves music. Pauline dreams of becoming a successful and popular singer thinking that when she becomes famous, she'll be able to help her father get out of jail. Her father, played by veteran actor Michael De Mesa, has been in jail for a single mistake that took the lives of two innocent people.

Also heading the cast of Kahit Nasaan Ka Man is the equally-talented Kapuso teen heartthrob, Kristoffer Martin. Kristoffer has already received numerous acting awards for the roles he has done in several indie movies and just like Julie, Kristoffer is also showing his singing skills in Sunday All Stars.

Being a good actor who can also sing really well, Kristoffer is perfect for the role of Leandro. Leandro hopes to see one day, the blind girl who used to think he was her angel. He used to sing an old melody to this girl when they were kids, and eventually lost her when the girl was taken away. With this, Leandro dreams of becoming a musician but unfortunately, his foster mother Theresa, played by Eula Valdez, does not approve of this dream. Theresa thinks that Leandro, who graduated valedictorian, should instead aspire to become more than a musician.

Also part of the main cast is the handsome and fine actor, Lucho Ayala. Being a theater actor, Lucho's acting capability is undeniable. He has already proven this on his portrayals in One True Love, Indio, and Binoy Henyo.

A really smart and promising actor, GMA should give more projects to Lucho.

Though he is used to playing the antagonist, he finds his role in the series a bit different as he plays the role of John, Pauline's childhood bestfriend, who will eventually become Leandro's friend. As John finally found the courage to court his Pauline, he will ask for Leandro's help, not knowing that by doing so, he is actually bridging the gap between the two souls who longed for each other since they were children.

All three of them consider this drama series as their biggest break on TV. Julie, though feeling pressured as a primetime series lead star, promises to deliver the performance expected of her, trusts the support of her fans, and is really in high hopes that the Filipino TV viewers will love this newest Kapuso offering.

Kristoffer, amidst the bashes he receives from the solid JuliElmo fans, still promises to bring out his best in the series, and will prove that the network is right in choosing him.

Lucho, who has been silent in his 3 years in showbiz despite all the praises and commendation he had received for his previous performances, hopes that this project will give him future projects to look forward to. He, of course, also promised another noticeable portrayal in the series.

With these fresh faces equipped with unquestionable acting competence and a very interesting story about friendship, family and love, GMA-7 Telebabad will definitely make your weeknight viewing more exciting.

Written by Suzette Doctolero and directed by Gil Tejada, Kahit Nasaan Ka Man also stars Eula Valdez, Ronaldo Valdez, Tessie Tomas, Yayo Aguila, Rita Avila and Michael De Mesa. Kahit Nasaan Ka Man premieres on September 23, 2013, after 24 Oras.
